Description
This work symbolically and abstractly represents the fragmentation of humanity and collective
memory during the Gaza genocide. On the right, a human face—fractured into sharp geometric
shapes—suggests the disintegration of humanity. On the left, flocks of black birds in flight symbolize
lost souls, displacement, and the death that hovers over Gaza, caused by the Israeli occupation. A
dark jug at the bottom evokes irreparable loss and emptied memory.
